These Units focus on features and enhancements in the recent versions of SDS2.

This course will focus on how to utilize and use all features of the Automated Reinforcement functions in ALLPLAN.

The SDS2 Instructor Certification is intended to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of SDS2. This certification ensures not only that the holder has the knowledge of SDS2 features and processes to complete projects, but also to teach SDS2 to less experienced users. Holders of this certification can be expected to have a broad understanding of the features and processes of SDS2, and to act as resources to train and mentor other SDS2 users. Holders of this certification are qualified to deliver SDS2 instruction up to and including Knowledge Level 3 (i.e., programs designed to teach the skills required to earn the SDS2 Power User Certification). This certification does not evaluate the understanding of advanced workflows and techniques for specialized uses of SDS2 (e.g., in-house detailers for steel fabricators or miscellaneous metals detailers).

This certification exam evaluates only the examinee’s technical knowledge of the solution indicated above; it does not evaluate the examinee’s ability to teach, deliver training, or design training content.

The FRILO Onboarding Course guides new users through the essential steps to get started with ALLPLAN. You will learn how to:

By the end of this course, you'll be ready to start your first project with confidence!

In this training you will learn the fundamentals to import, administrate, visualize and modify digital terrain models (DTMs). With the DTM as a calculation base, you will learn how to administrate, create, import and take over road axis alignment and how to use the commands to create and modify the horizontal and vertical geometry.

This tutorial describes the basic functions of SCIA Engineer for the input, analysis and design of a 3D concrete structure with 1D and 2D elements. 

Before you start, you must be familiar with your operating system: for instance working with dialogues, menu bars, toolbars, status bars, handling the mouse, etc. 

First, we will explain how to create a new project and how to setup your structure. 

After the geometry and load input, the structure will be calculated and the results can be viewed. 

Next, we will discuss the concrete settings and we will perform the concrete design for 1D and 2D elements. 

The tutorial ends with a brief introduction to the engineering report.

Next, we will discuss the steel code check according AISC 360-22 and we will create a simple steel connection.
