Connection SDS2 and missing icon
Questions:
How to use the new connections? and where is the icon?
Answer:
When you use the “Supporting structure” module in version 2024, you must also have access to an “automated connections” icon:
This command allows you to automatically connect elements via SDS2 commands in the background.
Warning: this command only works if you have created the elements (beams and columns of the supporting structure) using the profiles from the nemetschek catalog.
If this is not the case, you will not be able to create the connections.
During the creation of supporting structures, you may get a warning when choosing the profile.
To obtain the Nemetschek Profiles, simply open the library and click on the “Nemetschek Profiles Catalog” command.
Modification of assemblies:
After placing the automated connections, you can modify them by double-clicking on each assembly:
NOTE: if you cannot access the "Automated Connections" icon, it depends on your license (available from the engineering version). Otherwise, it may be caused by your custom action bar. Please initialize it and you will find the icon in the engineering role.
